Please join Iowa Representative Ken Croken for a forum on the school shooting crisis happening on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 11 a.m. in the auditorium of West High School in Davenport.

The horrible tragedy at Perry High School reminds us of this unfortunate and dangerous reality in the United States--and that sensible solutions must be in place to prevent more lives lost.

Speakers will focus on school violence and the role of unrestricted access to weapons and, in addition to Croken, will include former educator and current Iowa state senator, Cindy Winckler (D-49), and Trey Jackson, representing March For Our Lives Iowa. Born of the tragic 2018 school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, March for Our Lives is a national gun violence prevention advocacy organization founded by student survivors. Also represented will be the Area Education Agency Crisis Response Services Team, among others.
